VFTP = SDS FTP Manager = SFM
VFTP is VitalSigns for FTP. Its former name was SDS FTP Manager, or SFM. You may see any of those names in the messages.

A VFTP message ID is in the format
SFMnnnnS or
SFMCnnnS

The prefix indicates the source:
  SFM = VFTP agent or server
  SFMC = VFTP FTP client

nnn or nnnn – The 3- or 4-digit message number.

S – Indicates the severity:
  Debug
  Error
  Information
  Warning

For example, SFMC551E is an error message from the VFTP client.
