SMF recording: z/OS SMF recording for type=SMF_record_type, subtype=SMF_record_subtype is disabled
Explanation: A record type and subtype were specified in smfconfig that are not currently being written to SMF by the system configuration. This message is issued as a warning message to the console when the agent configuration in VFTCFG00 is parsed at agent startup or during processing of an OBEYFILE command. It is also issued as an error message to SFMOUT whenever the agent tries to write a record of the type and subtype shown.
Action: Make sure the record type indicated by SMF_record_type is correct. Determine why the record type and subtype are not being written by the system. Use the DISPLAY SMF,O command or check the SMFPRM00 configuration. If necessary, ask your systems programmer to correct the configuration.
